One of my friend, who has taken V.R.S. recently wants to start parttime typing job being provided by some compnies online. Whether these compnies are genuine and good in making payments.

I am looking for a work from home job. Data entry things like that. Just something I can do on the computer that doesn’t cost me to start doing.

I hate to say it, but data entry is non existent in today’s economy. I would have to say that all of the jobs I have seen listed as data entry were scams or very low paying.

I too have been looking for a job to make money online, but the only one I found was a "scam" I was paid $40 a week to post in forums. It was pennies!!!! After that, I have done a lot more research and make my money by completing offers online for various sites and by mystery shopping. The best site I have found yet has paid me over $70 and I have another $30 coming at the end of this month. I’m not getting rich, but I AM making some extra spending cash online.

Because of the telemarketing being almost illegal in the US, marketers need to find another way to reach their target market, and that’s why sites pay you to complete the offers. It doesnt’ take very long and as long as you are using trusted sites, you will be paid for your efforts. I also list the Mystery shop companies that I use in my blog.

To make sure you never join a scam, refer to gptboycott.com or the scam section in marketingpond.com. They are updated by people who have been scammed by the various online sites. Also, NEVER pay to join anything and I mean ANYTHING! It is unnecessary. I’m certain that if you look into the offer sites, you will be pleasantly surprised by the extra income you can earn.

I’m a newly trained medical biller and coder. I took the course at my local junior college. I’ve also done 60 hours of intern at a local doctors office. Where can I find legitimate work from home jobs on the net? I would appreciate any help, suggestions or websites. Please no rude answers, thank you.

Unfortunately there isn’t. You should try looking outside the home if you want something that will pay decent.

Where can I find work from home employment using the internet, I don’t want to make calls, and I see no reason that I should have to pay anything upfront, if you have any suggestions please advise them. (I am located in Northeastern PA if that helps)

Well there are a lot of scams out there. And the technical word for this is to telecommute. Most of the people who do this are IT guys making modifications to and building web based systems (websites, etc.). There some companies practicing hiring people for administrative work and allow them to work from home but this is scarce and a handful of times this is outsourced to people in 3rd world countries and developing countries that work for close to nothing. There are some websites that will really pay you for viewing ads, but what some people don’t realize is that their time time is worth a lot more and that the money generated doing this per hour is probably not even enough to cover the cost of electricity you spent to run your computer for that one hour. So your best if you want to telecommute is to either learn how to build good websites that people will pay you for or learn some popular programming languages such as java and php. While this involved effort may not seem appealing I’m just being honest.

I’ve been thinking about working from home using one of these businesses that say it’s a scam like Typing from home, make money off of real estate, etc… . I would like to know what other people think?

Typing at home is legitimate and it is called medical transcription and I do it however before you can’t even consider working from home until you have gone to a 2 year medical transcriptionist program consisting of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology etc and also you have to have really good english skills. Then after you finish school you still wont be ready to work at home because what they teach you in school is helpful but not real and you need to work around other people in order to get help and learn. Most medical transcriptionists at home get paid by the work they do so, you really want to be experienced so you can get work done to make money. Also, you cannot work at home and watch children. You need full attention to your work because you only get paid what you do and like my job can tell when I am not typing. So it is possible but it takes time to get there.

I see some jobs out there that allow people to work from home at their computers, i know most are probably just scams, but those that are actually legit, how do they pay their employees? How do they know exactly how many hours they’ve worked if there’s no one to supervise them at home? just curious..thanks.

LOL I’m not sure any of the previous posters answered any of your questions, did they?

I’ve done both "jobs" and a "business" from home so I have a little experience. The jobs that I did paid per question I answered or per essay I submitted. So it was easy for them to determine the pay. Most don’t pay hourly.

I found much more success with my business than I did my at-home jobs. I chose my hours and my income was based on how much effort I chose to put in that month.

I have been researching several different websites for money you can make by working at home. All these websites sound great and promising but, when I get to the bottom they want to pay a one time membership fee. Are there any work at home jobs that I can sign up for without paying anything and that are real legite companies that will pay me?

YES! There are legit work at home options…….I looked for 3 years before I found a good one! Learn from my experiences….lol

I’m a stay at home mom of two little girls a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I work about 15-18 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. I have been with the company for 6 months and am now making over $2500 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work I have seen people make anywhere from $500-$2000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well. If I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $5000 a month. My friend Becky started 2 years before me. She is now making $95,000 a year.

These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at the stores I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the benefits for free and I saved over $150 on my last visit to the dentist! That’s just a beautiful perk! : – )

When I first started I just felt very safe with them…. that and my friend was already making so much money with them! But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOVING what you do? What could be better?

P.S. If you are looking for a JOB there should be NO cost and I would NEVER pay or encourage anyone to pay money to work FOR someone else. This is a business, an inexpensive home business of your own, where you are your own boss. Of course it does cost some money to start any home business but that does NOT mean you should pay $500 or even $1000 to start a home business. Our start up costs are less then $100 bucks and we get SO much for that. Each month we cover only a very small portion of what it really costs to run our businesses, the company pays the rest for us. Including all of our web sites, training, materials, 401k, direct deposit, medical benefits and more. This company basically makes it possible for you to own your own home business and they foot almost 100% of the bill!!! Without them I never would have been able to afford my own business!
