I was an Avon Rep., I’ve hosted Tupperware, Candle Parties, the cooking one, Pleasure Parties and Cookie Lee. Nothing has really captured my interest to continue on for more, anyone got other suggestions? I realize you said you are not interested in Tupperware; so my response isn’t to talk you into something you are not interested in.
The first thing you need to consider is to choose something you are passionate about. It is 1/2 the battle of representing a product.
I am one of the rare exceptions. When I first began my Tupperware journey, I really didn’t understand the product at all. In fact, I just thought it was a pretty good deal to purchase their business kit. Now, I am a Director with the company. Once I began to learn about the benefits of Tupperware, I began to love it more and more.
Another thing to consider is to find a product with name recognition. Tupperware is one of the most recognized brands in the world. Everytime I mentioned the word Tupperware, I would get a response something like this: "I haven’t seen Tupperware in years! Do you have a catalog?" Imagine my surprise that just a few people later, someone asked me to do a party for them! WOW! That was easy. The rest is history.
I believe if you do something with passion that you truly believe in, you can find success.
