I am looking from work from home jobs from UK based companies but there are so many scams out there.
Can anyone help me find what I am looking for which is honest work for honest pay working from home.
There is an excellent google search engine which list online job vacancies like typing, transcription and data entry.

The vast majority of the "work from home" jobs out there are just plain scams, after 3 yrs of research and checking the FTC and BBB I realized one thing to be the truth- the more research you do the more precautions you take the better off you will be in the end.
Get a low value credit card in case you have to spend money on something (about 500 US is a fair number), expect that any legal or real job will want to fill taxes and thus will need that information from you, protect yourself with the credit companies from fraud (not sure how the UK works so you will have to research that). And keep in mind that the longer the history a company has the safer you will be (this is not to say that new companies are all scams and cons, but….)
Good Luck and hope you find what you want and need

If you are an accomplished typist – word processor and have recently visited your local public or private university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects using Microsoft Word. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.
Good luck!

I’m unemployed right now, so in my downtime I use a couple of sites that pay for completing surveys and clicking on ads- but do your research beforehand and only use sites that have proof of payments published on other forums unrelated to the site. my favorite is http://www.squishycash.com/members/register.php?ref=annessadav
They also have a lot of offers based out of the UK
